Terms and conditions

Tuition  does not include supplies. The first day of class  you may come without your supplies. Supplies will be discussed. A list is available on the website, however, you may not need everything.

Class size is small. Each student is important.

Students are expected to attend every class.

No makeup classes are offered. No refunds or tuition adjustments for missed classes.

Your tuition holds your easel or seat at the table that could otherwise be filled with another student, especially in classes with a wait list.

Out of courtesy, if an absence can not be avoided, please notify studio at least  6 hours in advance.

No shows with no calls is a disruption for me and the class. The second no call no show, you will forfeit your spot.

I create projects and course ideas based on your individual needs. One student's need may dictate what we do in the next class. When that student does not  show

it results in that one student being even further behind. Not only has the rest of the class mastered the concept but the individual who needed it most misses out.

Lateness - Incidents of lateness are discouraged.

Arriving late is a distraction to the lesson, the project, and the students.

The first 10 to 20 minutes is often when the introduction to the concept or project is discussed, lectured and  demonstrated. Trying to get the student up to speed on the project adversely effects the flow of the class. Please quietly jump in and adjust by asking your peers what to do. I will later check in to make sure you understand the concepts.

An email or text is expected if you are running late.

After 15 minutes, the student will be considered absent.
